About Our Historic Cape Cod Bed and Breakfast
Our beautiful nine-room Inn is one of the best places to stay on Cape Cod and offers first-class lodging accommodations, providing simple elegance and warm hospitality — a place where our guests are the focus of our attention. We offer rooms and suites in the original 1846 home, as well as in our more modern Orchard House.
Our philosophy is simple:
- We believe in old-fashioned, warm hospitality, and want to exceed your expectations!
- Our breakfasts use the freshest ingredients and are familiar yet gourmet. We maintain requested favorites, and are always trying something new in our test-kitchen.
About Your Innkeepers
In the fall of 2016, Amy Chesnut purchased Brewster By The Sea Inn. The Cape has been a part of Amy’s life since she was a toddler, and she always knew she would end up living here permanently. In her previous life, Amy had a fulfilling 30-year career in non-profit land conservation in Portland, Oregon and Sonoma County, California. She was born and raised in Westchester County, New York. After her first season running the Inn, she convinced her brother, Chris, to join her in the fun. Chris “retired” from a career in the hospitality industry managing large properties for MGM. As he says, he went from 900 rooms down to 9! Sweet Pea is our third musketeer, and is always available for some dog therapy for guests who are missing their pets.
Breakfasts continue to be a special time at the inn with many new recipes offered and guests’ favorites always remaining. Blueberry pancakes and apricot scones continue to be the most requested breakfast! Raspberry jam-making continues to be a summer tradition, as is our homemade Chai Tea in the winter time!
The inn has hosted many birthdays, anniversaries and special getaways, and we look forward to continuing to be that special spot for our guests, where memories are made!
