Breakfast is a special time at our inn, served from 8 to 10 AM.
In the summer we serve outside, weather permitting and in the winter fireside.
It is our goal to provide the freshest, in season ingredients.
The picture of tomatoes and zuchinni is from our summer vegetable garden,
picked for that mornings fritatta.
We believe in a breakfast
that is hearty, but healthy,
traditional, but not boring,
unique but not over the top!
Several organizations on Cape Cod are heavily supporting the Slow Food,
farm to table and various Fresh Food movements on Cape Cod.
We support them and try to do our part to help our
Bed and Breakfast guests discover a healthier experience.
We make a wonderful popover, (Bavarian Pancake) that allows us to
fill it with fresh fruit. Kiwis are not local but always add that
exotic look and taste to a morning breakfast
We also buy from local farms and markets, supporting very much the great
work of "capapbilities" .

Our eggs are cage free fresh and are
often only a day or two old versus store bought eggs which can be weeks old.
One of the local farms here in Brewster that we currently use is Bon Terra on Setaucket Road..
Our breakfasts include three courses:
Juices, including
fresh squeezed Orange Juice and our very special Brewster Sunrise,
A fresh fruit course using the best of seasonal and organic fruits,
and a main course.
The main course rotates between a savory one day and a sweet the next . Guest's favorites include
pecan waffles, herbed eggs, apricot scones with our famous homemade
raspberry jam and Parisian bread french toast. We have a bountiful vegetable and herb
garden which provides lush mint throughout the season, tomatoes, zuchinni, and many herbs.
We also have a raspberry patch on the property which produces enough raspberries to supply
the inn with our raspberry jam throughout the year and usually enough left over for raspberry pies,
sauces and tarts. The picture to the left show Donna and Nanna walking back to the inn after a hot
day of raspberry picking.
(please don't tell Nanna that this picture is on our web site as she dislikes her outfit)
